Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 26, 2026
1. Introduction
Persistive, LLC("Previso," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Previso platform (previso.app). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Services. It should be read with our Terms of Service.
The Services are offered only to customers in the United States. We do not offer accounts, free reports, or paid reports to people located in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, or other non-US locations.
Persistive is the business (and, where that term applies, the controller) of account, billing, usage, and security data. If you are an advisor running reports for a client, you may also be a controller of that client's information. When you submit a public URL, we collect public pages at your instruction as described in the Terms of Service. We do not presently publish a standard data processing addendum. Until Persistive and you execute a separate written addendum, these Terms and this Policy govern. Email legal@previso.app if you need that document for your own program. We do not offer the Services in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, and we do not take on GDPR processor terms by default.
2. Information we collect
Account information
Name, email address, and authentication data provided through Clerk, our identity provider. Display name if you set one.
Payment information
Billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
Report input data
Website URLs you submit and any optional context you provide (for example revenue, employee count, client concentration, competitive threats, extra URLs). Optional financial and commercial figures are provided by you so we can size the company in the brief. Do not submit information you do not have the right to share. Do not submit government identifiers, health or financial-account data, information about children, non-public employee files, or another party's confidential documents.
War Room conversations
Questions you ask in a full report's War Room, the AI answers, and attached citations.
Strategy Watch monitoring data
If your organization has an active Strategic Monitor subscription, we track assumptions identified in your reports and watch items you add. On a recurring schedule while Monitor is active, we re-visit public sources. We store assumptions, evidence found, statuses, and verdicts. History remains with the report after Monitor ends until the report or account is deleted.
Publicly available data
When you submit a URL, we collect publicly available information from the target site and related public sources. This may include business information on public pages, names and titles listed on those pages, publicly stated metrics, search results, and public performance measurements of the site (for example PageSpeed).
Share and contact data
Recipient email addresses you enter when sending a share notification. Messages you send through the contact form. Emails we send you (report ready, share, Monitor alerts, receipts).
Usage, device, and diagnostics
Log data, browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and product events. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand usage and performance. If error monitoring is enabled, we may send crash diagnostics to Sentry. These tools are used to operate and improve the product, not to serve ads.
Cookies and similar storage
Essential cookies cover sign-in (Clerk), security, the optional site-access gate, and password cookies on shared HTML reports. We do not show a cookie banner. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights load in the United States as first-party product analytics (page views and performance, not advertising), unless the browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal or the Services are not offered in your region. Crash diagnostics (Sentry) may still run when error monitoring is enabled, so we can operate the product. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not sell personal information. See Section 8 for California "sale" and "share."

6. AI processing
Reports, War Room answers, and Strategy Watch verdicts are generated by AI. Previso does not use your account data, report inputs, scraped content, War Room conversations, or Watch research to train AI models. AI processing is performed through API calls to Anthropic. Under Anthropic's current API data-use terms, API inputs are not used for model training. Other processors listed above receive only what they need to perform their function.
AI output may contain inaccuracies. See the Terms of Service.
7. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (the CPRA meaning of "share"). We disclose information to the processors in Section 5, to you and people you explicitly share reports with, and if required: to comply with law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.
8. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it is used (this policy is that notice)
- Request deletion
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Limit use of sensitive personal information. Account credentials are processed by Clerk for sign-in only. Optional revenue and client-concentration figures are commercial information; we use them only to generate your report and related Watch checks
- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights
To exercise these rights, email privacy@previso.app. We will verify the request and respond within 45 days, or as otherwise required. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization.
Do not sell or share. Previso does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by CPRA. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide a required opt-out.
9. Geographic availability and EEA/UK law
We do not offer Previso to customers in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland. Signup, free reports, paid reports, and checkout are limited to the United States. If you reached this site from those regions, you may still read the sample, help, and legal pages.
Persistive, LLC is in the United States. The Services and the processors in Section 5 operate in the United States. We do not appoint an EU or UK representative, and we do not currently represent that Standard Contractual Clauses are in place with every processor, because we do not offer the Services in those regions.
If your personal information appears in a report because it was listed on a public company page a US customer asked us to analyze, you may contact privacy@previso.app. We will review verified requests. That contact path is not an invitation to create an account or run a report from those regions. Until Persistive and you execute a separate written addendum, the Terms and this Policy govern. Email legal@previso.app if you need a processing addendum for your own program.
10. Your requests: access, export, and deletion
Access and correction. You can update display name and some billing details in Settings. For other corrections, email privacy@previso.app.
Export. There is no self-serve bulk export in the product today. Email privacy@previso.app to request a copy of your account and report data in a commonly used electronic format. We will fulfill verified requests within the time required by applicable law.
Deletion. In Settings you can submit an account-deletion request to our privacy team. That is a request, not an instant wipe. We process verified requests within 30 days. Dashboard "delete report" hides a report from your account; it is not a completed erasure until we process account deletion or you ask us to erase that report. Account deletion is intended to remove application-database records and stored report files (PDF and HTML), and to request deletion or anonymization from processors where they hold a copy, subject to law (for example payment records we must keep).
11. Data retention
- Account data: while the account is active, then up to 30 days after a deletion request is processed.
- Report data, research evidence, War Room conversations, and Strategy Watch history: stored with the report while the account is active; deleted on the same schedule as the report after account deletion. Cancelling Monitor stops new checks but does not by itself delete history.
- Share-link metadata: while the link is active or until the report is deleted.
- Payment data: as required by tax and financial rules.
12. Rights of people mentioned in reports
If your personal information appears in a report because it was listed on a public company page we were asked to analyze, you may contact privacy@previso.app. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days, or sooner where applicable law requires. We do not give individual notice to every person named on a public page we fetch; that notice would be impracticable.
13. Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the Services, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and vendor reviews. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
14. Children
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact privacy@previso.app.
15. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will change the "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email or by a notice on the Services.
