If a Report Fails or Isn't Usable

What to do when generation errors, a site cannot be read, or the brief is too thin to use.

Start with the free report so you can judge quality before you buy. Eligible one-time full-report purchases have a limited 30-day path if delivery fails or the file is materially unusable: we may retry the job, revise with extra context you provide, issue a replacement credit, or refund, at our discretion. Disagreement with scores or strategy is not covered. See the Terms.

In this article we will cover generation errors and briefs that ran but are too thin to use.

Generation Error

Here's how:

  1. Open the report from the dashboard. The error message is on the progress screen.
  2. Confirm the URL is a public website that loads in a browser.
  3. Try again from New Report only if the first job is marked error. Do not stack duplicates while one is still running.
  4. If it fails twice, email support@previso.app with the report URL from your dashboard.

A failed paid generation should not leave you without a credit. Contact us if a credit was spent and nothing usable was produced.

The Brief Generated but Is Too Thin

Public-data companies with almost no website will produce a cautious, hedged report. That can still be working as designed. Add optional company data and extra URLs, then ask us to revise.

Eligible one-time purchases include a 30-day satisfaction path in the Terms. At our discretion we may revise, issue a replacement credit, or refund.
